Slayde flees to the castle, vowing to tell his CO, General Desaix, of Celica’s whereabouts. Keep fighting Slayde, and eventually you will defeat him. Mycen’s attacks have a very high chance of missing for this mission-a reflection of Mycen's advanced age-but don’t succumb to the temptation to use the children, because they’re not ready for battle. You may miss a couple of times, but don’t worry: simply end the turn and Slayde will attack Mycen. When your turn begins again, select Mycen and attack Slayde. End the turn, and the other Cavalier will engage Mycen. You should defeat him easily, leaving only a second Cavalier and Slayde, the boss, to deal with. Once your next turn begins, leave the children where they are and have Mycen attack a nearby Cavalier. The enemy soldiers will engage Mycen, but they’re no match for him.
